Amanda “Mandy” Starr Allmeroth

Amanda “Mandy” Starr Allmeroth (née Martin), 47, passed away on May 28, 2026.

Mandy was born on May 3, 1979. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Dale Allmeroth, whom she married on October 13, 2007, and by her mother, Debra Leilani McFerrin.

She is survived by her son, Jacob Andrew Conyers and his significant other, Gracen Wallen; her grandson, Bennett Ralph Conyers; her step-sister and dear friend, Amber Lynn Buerk; her stepfather, Steven John Kikas; five nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends.

Mandy dedicated much of her life to caring for others through her work as a nurse. She spent many years in the operating room at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where she was known for her compassion, skill, and dedication to her patients. Caring for others came naturally to Mandy. Whether family, friends, coworkers, or complete strangers, she was always willing to show up when someone needed support. It was not uncommon for her to visit hospitalized loved ones of friends and family members, offering comfort, encouragement, and a familiar face during difficult times.

Outside of work, Mandy embraced life and enjoyed spending time with the people she cared about most. She loved being outdoors, especially near the water, and some of her happiest days were spent at the river, boating, swimming, and soaking up the sunshine. She treasured time spent with friends, whether gathered around a fire, out on the water, or simply enjoying each other's company.

Mandy had a deep love for animals and a special fondness for cats, pigs, turtles, and countless other creatures. She also loved music, laughter, and making memories with those around her.

Mandy will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her caring heart, her love of animals and the outdoors, and the friendships she cherished throughout her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend a luncheon following the burial service.
