Anna Lee (Thiebes) Rector

ANNA LEE RECTOR (nee Thiebes), passed away April 10, 2026 at the age of 95 years, 10 months, and 17 days.  Mrs. Rector was born May 24, 1930 in Robertsville, Missouri to Nicholas and Lottie (nee Burt) Thiebes.  She was united in marriage to Reggie B. Rector on June 12, 1954 at the Brush Creek Church in Gray Summit, Missouri.  Mrs. Rector was preceded in death by both her parents; her husband Reggie; and one great-great-granddaughter, Joanna Shae Olexa.

Anna Lee is survived by her children, Nick and wife Debbie Rector, Susie and husband Rick Lindemann, Nancy and husband Steve Mooney, and Julie Rector;  one sister, Pearl Gibson; her grandchildren, Stacey and husband Craig Short, Lesley and husband Jim Donahue, Scott and wife Nerea Alexander, Matthew Mooney, Jason and wife Kelly Mooney, and Jared Mooney;  great-grandchildren, Kylee (Michael), Megan, Reese, Andie (Tyler), Dylan, Connor, Briella, Katy, and Audrey; great-great grandchildren, Jace, Dane, Joslyn, Brooklyn; other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Rector was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, and the Eastern Star.  She loved her family, especially her grandkids, liked to watch Wheel of Fortune and the St. Louis Cardinals and had a green thumb.  Anna Lee graduated from Washington High School in 1948. She  worked at Shaw’s Garden when she was young and She worked at the Diamond Restaurant and Diamond Inn for a total of 40 years.

Visitation for Mrs. Rector is Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri, with Eastern Star service at 6:00 P.M.  Funeral services are Friday, April 24, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Shiloh Baptist Church, Robertsville, Missouri with Rev. Lane Allen and Rev. George Fulgham officiating.  Interment is in Shiloh Community Cemetery, Robertsville, Missouri.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
