Barbara Ann (Linz) Tomnitz, 85, of Pacific, Missouri, passed away on May 9, 2026, at SSM St. Clare Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Barb was born March 16, 1941 to Arlin and Katherine Linz and raised by her beloved grandparents Ernst and Ida Linz in Allenton, MO and Pacific, MO. She was preceded in death by both her grandparents, parents, and her husband, Donald Tomnitz.

Barb is survived by her three children, Kathy Richardson and her husband Tim, Donnie Tomnitz and his wife Nicky, and David Tomnitz and his former wife Geneta Tomnitz-Sucher. She was an adored grandmother to her eight grandchildren, Ryan Richardson (Alex), DJ Tomntiz (Heather), Colton Richardson, Joe Tomnitz (Aeris), Tessa Miller (Bradley), Emma Tomnitz, Allison Sahm (Alec), and Jenna Tomnitz and her seven great-grandchildren.

Barb’s quick wit, perseverance, and work ethic will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She never knew a stranger in her life and there were not many in this world that she could not connect with the moment she met them. Either through sharing a joke or a conversation, everyone who met Barb would walk away with a story they will carry with them forever. But above all, she will be known for her devotion to her family and friends who were the greatest pride of her life.  Her humor and unending love will live in the hearts of all those she held so dear.

Visitation for Barbara is Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri followed by a brief service and internment.
