Bertha Del Carmen (Cruz) Oseguera Obituary
Carmen Oseguera, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and the heart of her family, passed away after a courageous three-year battle with peritoneal carcinomatosis.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sara (Brian) and Mary Ann (Joe), her grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as “Momos”, Loren (Krystal), Lynda (Ryan), Scotty (Lori), Sara Ann (TJ), Alex, Shaynna (Dusty), Corey (Brittany), Kayla and her many great-grandchildren, who adored their “GG", Mariah, RJ, Carley, Avery, Andrew, Scott Jr., Noah, Isabella, Riley, Jack, Alaynna, Dustin, Louis, and Jada. She also leaves behind a large circle of family and friends who felt her warmth, humor, and love.
She was truly one of a kind—creative, witty, and effortlessly everyone’s favorite person. She had a way of making people feel seen, loved, and at home. Selfless to her core, her family meant everything to her, and she spent her life showing that through the countless things she made, created, and did for those she loved. You would always find her in the garden, crocheting on the porch, or scrolling through Pinterest for new recipes.
Through every stage of her illness—chemo, surgery, more treatment, and hospice—she showed remarkable strength and resilience, all while continuing to pour love into her family.
Her presence was the constant that held her family together, and her absence leaves a space that can never be filled. Still, her love, her laughter, and the memories she created will live on in all who knew her.
She made an impact on everyone she met and will be deeply missed and forever loved.
