BERTMAN EARL MILLER, of Pacific, Missouri was killed in action in Vietnam, November 1, 1967 at the age of 23 years, 7 months and 28 days. Mr. Miller was born March 4, 1944 in Washington, Missouri to John B. and Elizabeth C. (nee Koch) Miller. Mr. Miller was united in marriage to Mary L. Wiseman in 1965 in Pacific, Missouri.
In addition to his wife Mary L. Miller; he is survived by both his parents, and one brother, Clarence Allen Miller; his grandfather, Roy W. Miller; nephews, cousins, father-in-law and brother-in-law.
Mr. Miller was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society at St. Bridget's. Mr. Miller proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he made the ultimate sacrifice.
Visitation for Mr. Miller is after 5:00 P.M, Thursday, November 9, 1967 at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri. An American Legion Service will be held at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral services are Friday, November 10, 1967 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Pacific, Missouri with Rev. L.J. Vineyard, Rev. R.L. Heimos and Rev. W. Schulz officiating. Interment is in St. Bridget's Catholic Church Cemetery.
