Billy L. Roam

BILLY LEE ROAM, of Gray Summit, Missouri, passed away June 22, 2024 at the age of 74 years, 10 months, and 27 days.  Mr. Roam was born July 26, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri to Leon and Ester Roam.  He was united in marriage to Betty Clouse on January 11, 1991 in Union, Missouri.  Mr. Roam was preceded in death by both his parents; one brother, Leon; two sisters, Patsy and Barbara; and three sons, Billy Lee Roam Jr., Ricky L. Roam, and Wayne Roam.

Billy is survived by his wife, Betty; four children, Shantell Littleton (Donnie), David Cox, Kathy Tatum, and Michelle Peden; two daughter-in-laws, Kim & Christy; one sister, Donna Shamel; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.

Mr. Roam retired from Maplewood Construction after many years in asphalt construction.  He attended Pacific Assembly of God Church. Loved to hunt, fish, and bowl, however his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Visitation for Mr. Roam is Monday, July 1, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Harold Harrison officiating.  Interment is in Calvey Baptist Church Cemetery, Robertsville, Missouri.

The Roam family has requested memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
