Carl Wirthwein Jr., born on June 17, 1947, in Indiana, passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 76 in Washington, MO. Carl, known for his excellent singing voice, enjoyed meeting new people and bringing joy through laughter. He served in the Army and was a dedicated employee of Chrysler for over 30 years, also actively involved with Union 110.
In his free time, Carl was a sports enthusiast, coaching baseball and volunteering for the Pacific Indians football team. He enjoyed traveling to watch his grandchildren compete. He will be remembered for his passion for sports and his commitment to the supporting them in the community.
Carl is survived by his son Ed Wirthwein, daughter-in-law Diane Wirthwein, daughter Jennifer Wirthwein, grandson Jake Wirthwein, and granddaughters Kourtenay Wirthwein and Aaliyah Wirthwein. He is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Wirthwein.
A Celebration of Life service honoring Carl will be held at Cedar Grove Methodist Church in Robertsville, MO, on May 20th from noon to 2 pm.
