CAROLYN JEAN PRICE (nee Brauer), of Pacific, Missouri passed away April 15, 2024 at the age of 74 years, 7 months, and 2 days. Mrs. Price was born September 13, 1949 in Pacific, Missouri to Eugene Frederick and Helen Lucille (Payne) Brauer. She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Price on May 3, 1968 in Pond, Missouri. Mrs. Price was preceded in death by both her parents and one grandson Nikolai Schneider.
In addition to her husband Bob, Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Amy (Duane) Frazier, and Robyn Schneider; her sister, Jenny Atkins; her sister-in-law, Cheryl Sanders; her grandchildren, Katie (Tom) Holeman, Steven (Kimi) Schneider, Shelby Henry Jr., Timothy (Christina) Schneider, and Anna (Dan) Lamartina-Barker; and 18+ great-grandchildren; her nieces, Amanda and Natalie Sanders; and nephew, Christopher Atkins; other relatives and a host of friends.
Carolyn was a longtime member of Pacific Presbyterian Church and later watched Mission Community Church service online where her husband and daughter Robyn attend. She was a big supporter of Midwest Schipperke Rescue in which she had fostered and adopted many Schipperke’s throughout her lifetime. She loved her employment with Franklin Community Action Head Start program where she was a lead teacher until her retirement. She loved spending time on the river with her parents and her sister Jenny, family float trips, camping, reading and shopping with her granddaughter Anna. She enjoyed fishing with her dad, blackberry picking with her mom and her daughter Amy, and spending time with family. She collected dogs, Star Trek, and Cobolt Blue items. She cherished the many things her grandchildren and great-grandchildren had made for her along with the many love and hugs they had given her. Her favorite Christmas items were her ornaments and decorations. She was a “momma’s girl” since the day she was born. But most of all she loved being a daughter, wife, mom, grandmother and dog mom.
