Cheryl Ann Obenauer
July 26th, 1959 – March 21st, 2026


Cheryl Ann Obenauer, 66, of Pacific, Missouri, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with (SCLC) small cell lung cancer. She left this world on a beautiful sunny day at home, surrounded by family and love. She was preceded in death by her father, Wendell Bell and her grandson Evan Obenauer.


Born on July 26, 1959, Cheryl was a woman of strength, resilience, and quiet determination. Her greatest joy in life came from her family, and she embraced every moment she had with them. Her enthusiasm for muscle cars and hands-on car projects became a legacy, now carried on by her grandsons. 


Cheryl is survived by her loving mother, Dolores Bell, and her brother, Randall Bell. Her three daughters are Brandy M. Rush, Kelly M. Obenauer (Dylan Plafcan) and Lacey L. Schultz (Andrew).


Cheryl is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, who brought laughter, purpose, and warmth to her days. Justin Obenauer, Christian Obenauer (Skylar), Kaitlyn Rush, Hayley Rush, Alex Ehlers, Sofia Krehmeyer, Ledger Knott & Booker Knott.                                


Her greatgrandchildren of grandson Christian and wife Skylar Obenauer, Julian, Jessiah, Jersey and Jaelyn.


A visitation will be held on Friday, April 10th from 3–5 PM, followed by a 5 PM service, at Bell Funeral Home in Pacific, Missouri. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, share stories, and celebrate Cheryl’s life.


Cheryl’s legacy of love, strength, and perseverance will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
