It is with great sadness we announce the death of David Franklin Brittain, age 45, who was called home on September 9, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother Judith Ann Brittain. He leaves behind his wife of 18 years, Kari Anne Brittain (Roach); his four children, Jordan Christine Brittain, Zachary David Brittain, Spencer Michael Brittain, Charlotte Grace Brittain; his father Fred Michael Brittain; two sisters, Jennifer Gaedike & Katie Rumpf; his brothers and sisters in-laws; 9 nieces and 7 nephews; along with his in-laws James and Barbara Roach.

As a child, David had a knack for taking things apart and putting them back together. This transferred to cars. He was often found working on someone's car in a garage. His love was the Ford Bronco. He was proud to become the owner and operator of Bessinger's Automotive in Pacific, Missouri. He took pride in this shop and of the service they provided to maintain and fix cars, trucks, & motor homes in the area. David was good-natured, down to earth, & loved his family immensely. He spent his free time with his wife, kids, friends, and family. He was Zachary and Spencer's boy scout leader. He loved camping, floating on the river, playing board games, and watching movies with his family. He loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football and win the last two Superbowl's. He was proud of his kids. He was always found at their games. He was proud of Jordan, who is going to college to become a nurse. He was proud of Zachary who shared his father's love for cars & they often worked on them or talked about fixing them. He was proud of Spencer playing football in middle school and was looking forward to watching him play. His youngest, Charlotte, was wrapped around his finger and he loved watching her play soccer. He helped his dad & spent time with him every weekend. He had the ability to make anyone laugh and his kindness was endless. He was always there to help family and friends whenever they called him. He will be deeply missed by all.

Visitation for Mr. Brittain will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri.  A memorial service will follow the visitation at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
