DONALD R. MAYFIELD, Pacific, passed away October 1, 2008 at the age of 74. Mr. Mayfield was born in Goodland, Missouri on December 14, 1933 to John K. and Bessie I. (nee Cassady) Mayfield.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and one son, Ronald D. Mayfield.

In addition to his beloved wife Marlyn (nee Quigg), Mr. Mayfield is survived by one daughter, Margie L. Mayfield, one son, Wesley L. Mayfield, four brothers, James and wife Arlene Mayfield, Edgar Mayfield, Bobby G. Mayfield, and Oliver and wife Marge Mayfield, and four sisters, Louise and husband Glen Wells, Dorothy Stone, Goldie and husband Eddie Fox, and Wilma and husband Ronnie Nappier.

Mr. Mayfield proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.

Private funeral services were in the care of Bell Funeral Home, Pacific. Interment was in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Catawissa, Missouri.
