DONALD W. TOMNITZ, Pacific, passed away February 24, 2008 at the age of 70. Mr. Tomnitz was born in Pacific, Missouri on July 9, 1937 to Joseph and Clara (nee Boli) Tomnitz. He was married to Barbara Linz on November 7, 1959 in Pacific, Missouri.

Mr. Tomnitz was preceded in death by both of his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara, one daughter, Kathy and husband Tim

Richardson, Gray Summit; two sons, Don and wife Nicky Tomnitz, Eureka; and David and wife Genetta Tomnitz, Pacific, and eight grandchildren, Ryan and Colton Richardson and D.J., Joe, Allison, Tessa, Emma, and Jenna Tomnitz.

Visitation for Mr. Tomnitz is Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral services are 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific with Rev. Tom Ison officiating. Interment is in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Pacific.
