Dorothy Dorlene (Reeves) Nelson

DOROTHY DORLENE NELSON (nee Reeves), of Pacific, Missouri, passed away November 20, 2025 at the age of 85 years, and 28 days.  Mrs. Nelson was born October 23, 1940 in Bunker, Missouri to Clarence W. and Stella (nee Tucker) Reeves.  She was united in marriage to James “Jimmy” Nelson.  Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband “Jimmy”; 6 brothers, Benny Reeves, Joe Reeves, Elijah Reeves, Frankie Reeves, Charlie Reeves, and David Reeves; 1 daughter, Mary Lawson; and 2 grandchildren, Sirisa Nelson and Joseph Nelson.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by her children, Johnny and wife Barb Nelson, Debbie Nelson, Brenda Dart, Jimmy Joe Nelson, Terry Nelson, Martha and husband Mike Wilds, Sarah and husband Craig Clever; 2 brothers, Clinton and wife Linda Reeves, and Donald and wife Kathy Reeves; 14 grandchildren, Becky, Johnny, Ronald, Michelle, Jesse, Tonya, Nic, Randy, Kevin, William, Austin, Rachael, Levi, Jade; 12 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, JJ, Zach, Jayden, Abby, Riley, Adelyn, Logan, Hunter, Katiri, Mira, Dixie; other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Nelson attended Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Pacific, Missouri.  She loved the St. Louis Cardinals, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Loved listening to her bible, had a love for owls.  Loved to hear from people when they would call or stop by.

Visitation for Mrs. Nelson is Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri.  Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Patrick Singelton officiating.  Interment is in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Robertsville, Missouri.
