DOROTHY V. “Butch” PRICE (nee Schaffer) passed away at her home September 22, 2007. She was 92 years old. Dorothy was born December 30, 1914 in Pacific, Missouri to Edward and Isabelle (nee Potter) Schaffer. In 1931 she was married to Harvey Price in Pacific.

Together, Dorothy and Harvey owned and operated Harvey’s Tavern in Pacific for over 50 years. 

In addition to her husband, Harvey, Dorothy was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Komerous.

Dorothy is survived by six grandchildren, Patty and husband Ronald Stanley, David and wife Joanna Komerous, Janis Pauley, Michael and wife Gina Komerous, Jeanna Komerous, and Devin Komerous. 

Visitation for Mrs. Price is Monday, September 24, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific. 11:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Bell Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Ison officiating. Interment is in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Pacific.
