DOUGLAS NOEL RHODES, of Pacific, Missouri, passed away March 4, 1983 at the age of 67. Mr. Rhodes was born May 12, 1915 in Tinsman, Arkansas to John William and Mary (nee Lingo) Rhodes. He was united in marriage to Fankie Lee Green on November 18, 1944 in Paragould, Arkansas. Mr. Rhodes was preceded in death by both his parents; and two daughters, Gwenda Joyce and Patricia June Rhodes; and one brother, Wayland Rhodes.
In addition to his wife, Frankie, Mr. Rhodes is survived by his children, Janice Reed, Douglas F. Rhodes, Natalie Dailey, and Freeman Rhodes; his siblings, Victor Rhodes, Senath, Robin Rhodes, Kennet, Gladys James, Haiti, Elva Greer, Hornersvile, Guy Rhodes; and 12 grandchildren.
Mr. Rhodes was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church.
A Rosary service will be held Sunday at 8:00 P.M. Burial in Pacific Cemetery, Monday 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Donald Johanningmeier officiating.
