Earlene Jean Waller (nee Turnbough)
October 15, 1948-December 4, 2025
On the evening of Thursday, December 4th, we lost the heart of our family. Earlene Waller was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Waller. She leaves behind her daughters Renee (Scott) Albert and Roxann Snow; her brother Jeff Turnbough; grandchildren Kristina (Josh) DeLane, Jimmy (Taylor) Cantrell, Kimmie (Nick) Dodson, Taylor (Josh) Moskowitz, and Corey Pittman; and great-grandchildren Evan, Colten, Konner, Thea, Matthew, Archer, Dennis, Tyler, Beau, Trip, and Coulton.
Earlene was the matriarch of her family, and she called the plays until her very last breath. She was small but mighty, and her presence, guidance, and wisdom will never be forgotten. In her final words to us, she reminded us that God does not owe us explanations for His actions—He has His reasons, and that is enough.
Her physical absence will weigh on our hearts forever, but her spirit will continue to live on in each of us.
She lived a hard life with unwavering strength, never complaining. She loved deeply, worked tirelessly, and made sure everyone else was taken care of before herself. We will be forever indebted to her for the gifts she gave us—the songs we listen to, the love we feel and share, the laughter she sparked, and the stories of a life lived with courage and devotion.
“A truly loyal heart does not draw attention to itself—it simply shows up, day after day, giving, supporting, and loving with quiet courage. She was the kind of person who held her family together, who stood firm in storms, who made every sacrifice without ever asking for anything in return. Her beauty was not just in how she looked, but in how she lived—with devotion, resilience, and a love so constant that it became the foundation for everyone around her.”
