GEORGE J. NAUMANN, Sr. of Villa Ridge, Missouri passed away July 13, 2009 at the age of 81.  Mr. Naumann was born May 4, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri to Louis and Frieda (nee Vanderplym) Naumann. He was married to his wife of over 55 years, Dolores (nee Dean) Naumann, on September 19, 1953 at St. Monica’s Church in St. Louis County, Missouri.

Mr. Naumann was preceded in death by both of his parents. 

In addition to his wife, Dolores, Mr. Naumann is survived by four sons, George, Jr. and wife Suzanne Naumann, Union, Stephan, Sr. and wife Rhonda, Marthasville, John and wife Sherry, Belle, and Michael and wife Denise, Villa Ridge. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family members and friends. 

Mr. Naumann Proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was retired from the Boles Fire District and was a member of the 3-Rivers Re-Act, Meramec Ambulance District, and Franklin County Fox Hunters Association. Mr. Naumann was a lifelong and avid hunter and fisherman.

Visitation for Mr. Naumann is Wednesday, July 15, 2009, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific. Funeral services are at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Knight officiating. Interment, with full military honors, is in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
