GLENN N. LONG, Pacific, passed away July 11, 2012 at the age 83. Mr. Long was born in Belton, Kentucky on October 26, 1928 to Harry and Vena (nee Ragland) Long. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Mr. Long was married to Sue (nee Luckett) Long on May 15, 1951 in Greenville, Kentucky. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Joe (Michelle) Long, Pacific, two daughters, Vickie (Sam) Marchesi, Foristell and Karen (Larry) Clark, Pacific, six grandchildren, Jason (Kira) Long, Nathan Long, Nicholas Marchesi, Julie Marchesi, Michael (Autumn) Clark and Danielle Beinke and eight great grandchildren, Elijah Long, Lucy Long, Taylor Long, Morgan Long, Wilson Long, Lilly Long, Nolan Clark and Hadley Clark.
Mr. Long proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired after 38 years from the Chrysler Corporation in Fenton. Mr. Long was a long-time member of the Pacific Baptist Church.
Visitation for Mr. Long is Friday, July 13, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific. Funeral services are Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment, with full military honors is in Brush Creek Cemetery, Gray Summit.
