HAROLD DEAN LANKFORD "DEAN",  of Villa Ridge, Missouri, passed away March 12, 2024 at the age of 63 years, 7 months, and 11 days.  Mr. Lankford was born July 30, 1960 in Texas to Paul and Virgin Janet (nee White) Jaco.  He was united in marriage to Ruth Elaine Blanton in Delta, Missouri.  Mr. Lankford is preceded in death by both his parents; his wife, Ruth; and two brothers, James C. Lankford and Leslie A. Lankford.

Mr. Lankford is survived by his children, Darryl Poertner, Billy (Dawn) Poertner , and Jeanie Poertner; one brother, David W. Lankford; six grandchildren, Darryl Lee (Nicole) Poertner, Anthony Poertner, Brandon Young, Morgan Poertner, Bryan Poertner, T.J. Tuttle; and four great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.

Mr. Lankford enjoyed listening to the birds, his dogs, fishing, hunting, aggravating people, and taking care of Ruth.

Visitation for Mr. Lankford is Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri.  Funeral services at Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Greg Sitton officiating.
