JAMES DON COVINGTON, of Pacific, Missouri, passed away May 18, 2024 at the age of 96 years and 8 months.  Mr. Covington was born September 18, 1927 in Muncie, Indiana to James and Anna (nee Ward) Covington.  He was united in marriage to Betty Jean Hoven on October 19, 1952 at St. Bridget Catholic Church, Pacific, Missouri.  He was preceded in death by both his parents; two sisters, Maxine Kommer and Marge Ring; and one grandson, Jamie Worth.

Mr. Covington is survived by his children, Steve and wife Carolyn Covington, Pacific, Missouri, Donna Covington, Pacific, Missouri, and John and wife Amy Covington, New Haven, Missouri; two brothers, Jerry and wife Roberta Covington, Muncie, Indiana, and Larry and wife Deb Covington, Muncie, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Shane, Hollie, Amy Jean, Jason, Jordan, Justin, Taylor, Brooklyn, and Natalie; eight great-grandchildren, Tyler, Trey, Tristan, Dylan, Logan, Ashton, Isabel & Aidan; other relatives and a host of friends.

Mr. Covington proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Pacific Eagles Club - Large Hall.
