JANICE CATHERINE WORLEY (nee Hendrix),  of Pacific, Missouri, passed away July 23, 2024 at the age of 88 years, 6 months, and 1 day.  Mrs. Worley was born January 22, 1936 in Perryville, Missouri to Andrew Thomas and Hester Della (nee Edmond) Hendrix.  She was united in marriage to Robert Richardet on May 2, 1953 until his death on December 14, 1982.  And was married to Carol Gene Worley on April 13, 1985 until death on June 29, 2021.  Mrs. Worley is preceded in death by both her parents; both her husbands; two children, James Richardet, and Debra K. Podorski; her siblings, Eileen (nee Hendrix) (Johnny) Bishop, Perryville, Missouri, Viola (nee Hendrix) (Clyde) Lukefahr, Perryville, Missouri, Clyde (Wanda) Hendrix, Perryville, Missouri, Raymond (Viola) Hendrix, Perryville, Missouri, Don (Dorothy) Hendrix, Perryville, Missouri, and Judy (nee Hendrix) (Wayne) Pitman, Perryville, Missouri; brothers-in-law Bill Norman, and Clarence Robb.

Janice is survived by her children, Alan and wife Melissa Richardet, Karen and husband Bob Glenn, and Bob and wife Chris Worley; her siblings, Faye (nee Hendrix) Norman, Granite Bay, California, Reta Carol (nee Hendrix) Philips, Lebanon, Illinois, and Glennon and wife Pat Hendrix, Ormond Beach Florida; her grandchildren, Katie (Patrick) Elder, Andrew (Chrissy) Richardet, David (Alicia) Glenn, Phillip (Tabitha) Glenn, Millicent Worley, Aiden (Holly) Worley, and Avery Worley; 17 great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Alexis, Andrew, Abigail, Benjamin, Hailey, Nicholas, Timothy, Taylor, Jett, Baylor, Becket, Brooks, Sawyer, Teddy, Jesse, and Selah (due any day); other relatives and a host of friends.

First of all, Mrs. Worley was a Christian woman who loved the lord.  She was a member of Pacific Heights Baptist Church.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing, quilting, counted cross stitch, crocheting, canning fruit and vegetables, cooking, baking, doing seek and find puzzles, and reading.  She enjoyed caring for her husband and children, which later included her stepchildren.  She enjoyed, entertaining her grandchildren as well, when they lived at the lake.  Fixing two Thanksgiving meals to accommodate all gave her great pleasure.  Listening to bluegrass music and singing in the church choir were also things that she loved.  Her life was filled with many trials yet many joys along the way.  Janice was able to live a very fulfilled life and took pleasure in all that she did.  She wore many hats in this life, wife, mom, mother-in-law, step-mom, stepmother-in-law, grandma, Granny Jan, Aunt Janice, sister, and friend.  She wore all of those hats so well.  She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Visitation for Mrs. Worley is Sunday, July, 28, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Dennis Hartmann officiating.  Interment is in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Bloomfield, Missouri.
