Jean Roberta (Church) Prince Obituary

JEAN ROBERTA PRINCE (nee Church), of Pacific, Missouri, passed away January 20, 2026, at the age of 78 years, 4 months, and 6 days.  Mrs. Prince was born September 14, 1947, in Gray Summit, Missouri to Robert and Laverne (nee Gieselman) Church. She was preceded in death by both her parents, one sister, Nancy Conway and one son, John Lee Prince.

Mrs. Prince is survived by her children, Jennifer Lawler (Brian), and Robert Prince (Robin); her daughter-in-law Amanda Prince; two sisters, Kay Smith and Dorothy McGowan; her grandchildren, Sabrina Carlyon (Jon), Nathaniel Prince (Nichole), Haley Prince, Kayne Prince, Aidan Lawler, Reilly Lawler, and Jack Prince; great-grandchildren, Blakely Prince, Brenleigh Prince, Lucas Carlyon, Dakota Carlyon, and Wayne Prince.

Mrs. Prince was a member of St. Bridget of Kildare Catholic Church.

Jean will be remembered as a woman of gentle kindness, loyal friendship, a generous spirit, and boundless love. An ardent shopper with a true gift for finding the best bargain, whether in her favorite stores or while traveling. A seasoned world traveler, Jean embraced new places and experiences with enthusiasm and curiosity.

She was a keeper of all things sentimental, treasuring memories as much as the objects that held them. An avid reader, she found joy and comfort in books. She was an enthusiastic collector of many things: books, antiques, seashells, and countless meaningful treasures along the way.

Jean gave freely of herself as an altruistic volunteer, donating her time and talents to organizations such as the Jaycees, her Homeowners Association, and the Family Resource Center.

Above all else, Jean loved her family. She loved her children selflessly and without fail and she loved her grandchildren even more. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the memories she leaves behind.
