JEREMY WILLIAM POPE, of Union, Missouri, passed away October 12, 2024 at the age of 40 years, 6 months, and 9 days.  Mr. Pope was born April 3, 1984 in Washington, Missouri to Raymond and Marianne (nee Hoeft) Pope.  He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Pope; one brother Ricky Hiatte; and grandparents, Ruben and Isla Hoeft.

Mr. Pope is survived by his mother Marianne Haitte; his children Jeremiah Pope and Sophia Pope; and three sisters, Amy Hiatt, Kari Hiatte, Lori Haitte along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other loved ones and friends.

Jeremy was both a lover and a fighter, he loved with all his heart and defended with all his might.  Jeremy’s greatest loves were his children, Jeremiah and Sophia and his mother Marianne.  Jeremy would have done anything in the world for them. 

Then you have Jeremy and his band of brothers.  Jeremy’s band of brothers consisted of a small group of guys that he liked to hang out with and do things with.  These gentlemen made a difference in Jeremy’s life as sure as he made a difference in their lives.

Many years ago Jeremy went to work for a small mom and pop construction company.  When started he knew very little about construction, because he had only worked in concrete at the time.  By the time is was all said and done, Jeremy was an excellent floor layer and carpenter and had gained more than just skills, he gained more siblings and a Ma and Pop that love him as their own.

Jeremy loved sports, any and all sports, he liked to play, he liked to watch sports on tv and he really enjoyed going to games.  He enjoyed playing video games online with his buddies.  Jeremy liked going to concerts.  And fishing, Jeremy enjoyed fishing.  He found it to be relaxing.  He liked to go to Blue Eye with Pop and go out on the boat and do a little trout fishing.,

Visitation for Mr. Pope is Friday, October 18, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at :00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Sitton officiating.
