JUNIOR FRANKLIN BRANSON, a World War II Veteran, of Pacific MO passed away Tuesday May 17, 2016 at the age of 93. He was born January 28, 1923 to Timothy Lain Branson and Nellie Emily (Owens) Branson. Junior is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anna Kathleen (Thornton) Branson. To this union five sons and one daughter were born. Surviving are two sons Roger Branson and wife Edith of Bourbon, MO and William Branson and wife Cheryl of Pacific, MO, one daughter in law Christine Branson of Labadie, MO, 12 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. (Plus many others who called him “grandpa”.) Junior is also survived by two sisters Evelyn Lees and Hazel Wilkin and husband Vernon, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.

Visitation for Mr. Branson is Monday, May 23, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific. 11:00 A.M. funeral services are Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Daryl Lynn officiating. Interment is in Pacific City Cemetery.
