Kathryn Bonner Death Notice

Kathryn “Kathy” Ann (Parker) Bonner departed this earth at age 71 on February 18, 2025 at her home in Catawissa, Missouri. She was born on September 10, 1953 in Bunker, Missouri to Viola Jewell & Dempsey Arnold Parker.

Kathy was married to her husband of 36 years, John Reed Bonner on May 26,
1985 in Bunker, Missouri; whom preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by 9 siblings; Shirley, Vesty, Ruth, Polly, Edna, Dorothy, Gene, Joseph & Loren and one grandson, Jacob Solano.

Kathy is survived by her six children; Tracy (Oscar) Tirado in Brandon, Florida;
Charles (Kelly) Bonner of Hillsboro, Missouri; Faith Hickelheim of St. Louis, Missouri; Kristen Solano of Riverview, Florida; Hope Lambert of Pacific, Missouri and John (Alyssa) Bonner of DeSoto, Missouri.

Twelve Grandchildren; Casey (Amanda) Smith, Hollie (Jerry) Bone, Tyler Hyde, Sammy Davis, Bailey Davis, Elisabeth Bonner, Angel Bonner, Lukas Oliver, Amanda Oliver, Jonathan Brewer, Layla Bonner and Macy Bonner.

Five Great Grandchildren; Bentley Smith, Draven Bone, Aiden Zummwalt, Hunter Bone and Greyson Davis.

Three Surviving Siblings; Richard (Isa) Parker, Barbara (Buddy) Laur and Dale (Norm) Mars.

As a believer, Kathy loved the Lord and her family very much. She always wanted to have holidays at her house and cook for the family. There are so many memories which were created and will always be treasured.

Kathy loved to travel and take adventures with her family like hiking, camping, floating and enjoyed her “girls trips” where memories were made but may not be shared. She was blessed to have taken her last trip in 2023 to Florida with one of her sisters to visit their other two surviving siblings. On this trip she was able to mark off some of her bucket list items she wanted to see.

She was a woman of many hobbies such as painting rocks, playing bingo, part of the “Red Hat” society, loved cake decorating and was a member of the VFW Auxillary.

Kathy was not afraid of hard work. She picked vegetables, worked in a Nursing
Home, factory work, sold House of Lloyd’s (where she won several trips for  her accomplishments) and managed at Sally’s Beauty Supply & Oreck where she retired from.
