LAVERNE C. CHURCH - OBITUARY

LAVERNE C. CHURCH (nee Gieselman) of Pacific, passed away January 2, 2014 at the age of 92. Mrs. Church was born January 19, 1921 to Frank and Ida (nee Lindeman) Gieselman in St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husbands, Frank Harrow and Robert Church, one daughter, Nancy Conway and one son-in-law, Edward Conway.

Mrs. Church is survived by three daughters, Kathryn and husband Ronald Smith, Dataw Island, South Carolina, Dorothy Conway and husband Max McGowan, St. Charles and Jean Prince, Villa Ridge. She is also survived by many grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Church was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church and was a friend and mentor to many.

Visitation for Mrs. Church is Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Bob Heimos officiating. Interment is in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, St. Louis.
