LELA "KAY" COOPER (nee Omer) of Beaufort, Missouri passed away January 20, 2025 at the age of 79 years, 1 month, and 8 days.  Mrs. Cooper was born December 12, 1945 in Sturgis, Kentucky to Orville and Katherine (nee Dodge) Omer.  She was united in marriage to Paul "Eddie" Cooper on December 13, 1963 in Pacific, Missouri.  Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by both her parents; two sons, Michael Cooper and Paul Cooper; three siblings, Jerry, Phyllis, and Terry.

Kay is survived by her husband Eddie; her daughter Lucinda Cooper; two brothers, Dale and Larry Omer; four grandchildren, Sydney, Courtney, Zach and Jeremy; five great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Cole, Cade, Madelyn, and Miles; other relatives and a host of friends.

Mrs. Cooper was a member of Pacific Baptist Church.  She loved to shop, antiquing, and gardening.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Mrs. Cooper on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri.
