LINDA LOU AYCOCK (nee Wood), Pacific, passed away January 17, 2019 at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 17 days. Linda was born March 31, 1940 in Knobel, Arkansas to Lester and Edith (nee Brewer) Wood. She was preceded in death by both of her parents;  three brothers, Lester Wood, Jr., Bill Wood and Frank Wood; and one sister, Ramona Myers.

Linda is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Doyle "Bennie" Aycock; three daughters, Becky (Mike) Butler, Jenni (Patrick) Belding, and Amy (Jay) Straulin; thirteen grandchildren, Kati (Chris) Wamhoff, Megan Yoakum, Ben (Brittany) Yoakum, Michael Butler Jr., Madison Butler, Nicholas (Kristin) Meador, Christopher Meador, Matt (Beth) Belding, Mark (Jamie) Belding, Mike (Ashley) Belding, Angela Belding, Jackson Straulin and Jamison Straulin; Eleven great-grandchildren, Cooper, Ben, Kaiden, Demi, Owen, Resse, Harper, Cooper, Lane, Reed, and Mae; one sister, Brenda and husband Bob Short; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Linda was a member of the Pacific United Methodist Church.

Linda was involved and active in various organizations throughout her life. She was a Girl Scout leader, member of the PTO, active in the Jaycettes (women of Jaycees), volunteer for her church, member of the BU Chapter of the PEO Sisterhood.
 
Visitation for Linda is Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at Pacific United Methodist Church with Reverend Tony Townley officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.

In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
