Pastor Bob Newton

PASTOR BOB NEWTON, of Pacific, Missouri, passed away October 12, 2024 at the age of 78 years and 4 days.  Pastor Newton was born October 8, 1946 in Marston, Missouri to George Cletis and Hattie Pauline (nee Grubbs) Newton.  He was united in marriage to Betty Jane Millering on March 28, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri.  Pastor Newton was preceded in death by both his parents; two brothers, Billy Jean and Stanley Newton; and one sister, Juanita.

Pastor Newton is survived by his wife Betty; his church family and a host of friends.

Bob was Pastor at Crestview Christian Temple for 51 years.  He was a welder, and Bus Driver for Meramec Valley R-3 School District.  He loved fishing and gardening, but most of all preaching and winning the lost for Jesus.  He would fish for souls and planted seeds for Christian growth.  In addition a loyal supporter of missions and the Heritage Bible College in Savannah, Georgia.

Visitation for Pastor Newton is Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Crestview Christian Temple, Pacific, Missouri.  Funeral services are Friday, October 18, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the church with Dr. Ryan Ralston, President Heritage Bible College and Pastor Danny Brimm officiating.  Interment is in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Pacific, Missouri.
