ROSA ELENA MARCH (nee Longoria), 82, passed away January 22, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Washington.  Mrs. March was born November 4, 1935 in LaReforma, Texas to Cecilio and Lorenza (nee Guerra) Longoria. Mrs. March was preceded in death by both of her parents, one son, Jay March, three brothers, Cecelio Longoria, Jr., Elias Longoria and Aaron Longoria, three sisters, Ofelia Dees, Lucia Longoria and Lidia Gordon.

In addition to her husband, Charles March, Rosa is survived by three children, Jeff March, Gray Summit, Lori March and Pat March of Pacific. She is also survived by one sister, Elma and husband Camilo Vela and several nieces, nephews, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Rosa was raised in Edinburg, Texas and graduated high school in 1954. She received her Nursing Degree from Pan American College. She began her nursing career in Oregon where she met her husband of 54 years; they later moved to Missouri. Rosa began her employment with Sunset Nursing Home in Union where she worked as a Charge Nurse for over 30 years. She truly loved her job and the patients for which she provided care.

Rosa most enjoyed spending time with her family and also enjoyed other activities including bowling and Bingo.
 
Visitation for Mrs. March is Monday, January 29, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific. 11:00 A.M. funeral services are Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment is in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Catawissa.
