ROSALENE "ROSIE" MARIE ALLEN (nee Schmelz), of Washington, Missouri passed away August 18, 2012 at St. Louis University Hospital. Mrs. Allen was born April 15, 1932 in Robertsville, Missouri to John and Margaret (nee Cole) Schmelz. Rosie was married to Donald Allen on September 2, 1949 in Robertsville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and one brother, Terry Schmeltz.

Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Don Allen, Washington, one son, Donnie and wife Renea Allen, Washington, one daughter, Sherry Ebker, Owensville, three sisters, Betty Mooney, Pacific, Jackie and husband Ed Hertlein, Pacific and Shirley Whitmore, Pacific. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Stacy (T.J.) Murphy, Mindy (Shannon) Schomberg, Jenny (Nick) Notter, Lindsey (Mike) Chambers, Daniel (Kasey) Ebker, Ryan Ebker, James Behlmann and Ashley Behlmann and ten great grandchildren, Marissa, Joshua, Karlee, Coby, Addison, Kylan, Alley, Leah, Reagann and Kinzey.

Visitation for Mrs. Allen is Monday, August 21, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific. Funeral services are at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment is in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Pacific.
