Rose Elizabeth (Wallach) Bukowsky

ROSE ELIZABETH (WALLACH) BUKOWSKY,  88, passed away September 22, 2024.  Rose was born July 31, 1936 in Eureka, Missouri, the ninth of eleven children to the late Emil Luke Wallach Sr. and wife Elizabeth Marie (Rademacher) Wallach.  Rose attended Eureka Elementary until Sacred Heart Church started a parochial school in 1948 where she graduated 8th grade, and attended Eureka High School graduation in 1954.  During her High School years, she did farm chores, milked cows, drove the hay truck, worked at the Chicken Coop Restaurant in Times Beach and at Sutter's grocery store in Eureka, Missouri, where she met her future husband, Albert Joseph Bukowsky.  She resided in Pacific, Missouri and was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church.  She worked at St. Bridget's Catholic school in the cafeteria, then started her own catering business.  She loved cooking and baking for others.  She loved to watch St. Louis Cardinals baseball, hiking, attending her grandchildren's sporting events and going to "The Boat" with Ronnie in their free time.

Rose and Albert were wed on March  2,1957, to this union, five children were born: Donnie Bukowsky, Ronnie Bukowsky (she dedicated her whole life to taking care of Ronnie who was born special needs), Debbie (Billy) Goss, Cathy Garrison, and Beth Bowers.  Former Son-in-law Mike Bowers, former daughter-in-law Debbie Kelley.  Followed by grandchildren: Shannon Russell, Donnie Bukowsky Jr., Angie Kemp, Amanda (Adam) Lindemann, Timothy (Lauren) Goss, Megan (Andrew Bruns) Goss, Clint (Kelsey) Bowers, Dillon Bowers.  Great Grandchildren: Alaina Lindemann, Reid Bowers, Darcey Bowers, and Sydney Bowers.

She is survived by her siblings: Alfred (Jean) Wallach, Mary Ann (Spencer) Waddell and Elizabeth Jane (Gerald) Mason.  She is preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Bukowsky and siblings Daniel (Georgianna) Wallach, Arthur Wallach MIA WWII, Marcell Bell, Stanley (Clara Ann) Wallach, Ray (Jeannette) Wallach, Emil Luke, Jr. (Maureen) Wallach and Windy Wallach.

Visitation for Rose is Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific, Missouri.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Bridget Catholic Church, Pacific, Missouri with Reverend Alexander Nord officiating.  Interment is in St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery.

Memorials for Rose may be sent to the de Greef Hospice House at Mercy Hospital South or the Alzheimer's Association.
