TREVA LEONE McCABE, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away June 18, 2024 at the age of 55 years, 6 months, and 3 days. Ms. McCabe was born in Creve Coeur, Missouri to Jack Sr. and Carolyn (nee Adams) McCabe. She was preceded in death by both her parents; her grandparents Joseph and Elise (nee Johnson) McCabe and Walter Cam and Billy Jo (nee McGee) Adams; her son, Jake McCabe; and her step-son, David Underhill.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyne McCabe; her brother Jack Jr. and wife Jenny McCabe; her nieces Christian McCabe and Caitlin McCabe; her step-son Matthew Underhill; step-grandchildren, Matthew Underhill Jr. and Keeleigh Lucas; and step-great-granddaughter, Oakleigh Achelpohl.
Treva loved nature and all kinds of animals, especially German Shepherds. She enjoyed growing and canning her own food, cooking and baking for her family – especially on holidays, and listening to country, blues, and rock music. She was a country girl at heart, and very proud of her Cherokee and Irish ancestry.
She was a 1987 graduate of Eureka High School and pursued and obtained a psychology degree. She had an incredibly strong personality. She was tough, logical, and strong willed; but also loving, nurturing, and kind with a great sense of humor. Above all else, she loved being a mother. It was her life’s dream to be a good mother to her children, and she certainly was.
