William "Bill" Clifford Mesko, born in Rolla, Missouri, on March 15, 1959, of Robertsville, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the age of 66.

Bill was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and a former member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 320 in Pacific, MO. He was a highly skilled mechanic, owning and operating his own small engine repair business. He was a memorable character who truly lived life on his own terms. Known for his resilience, sense of humor, and loyalty, Bill was often the first one to step up to protect his family and friends. He made an impact on many, mentoring younger men who spent time learning mechanic skills in his garage.

He was a member of Heart of Worship Church and had diverse passions, including his love for music and karaoke, the excitement of riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles (former member of Freedom of Road Riders local 42), hunting, and fishing. He was known for his big smile and, as one friend noted, Bill "did life his way."

Bill passed away at Pacific Care Center in Pacific, MO, with his devoted wife and the "love of his life," JoAnn (née Matthews) Mesko, by his side.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnn Mesko; his loving daughter, Heather (Joshua) Kirk; his father, William Mesko; his sisters, Theta Mesko and Melissa (Evhen Farmiga) Mesko; and many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia (née Tyler) Mesko; his brothers, Robert Mesko and David Mesko; and his nephews, Tony Brandt and Jason Brandt.

*A Life Remembered and Services*

The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support. They take comfort knowing that Bill is no longer in pain and that he left this world in the most peaceful way possible. They invite all who knew Bill to celebrate his life and remember the "crazy stories" and brighter moments he shared with everyone.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 2:00 PM at Heart of Worship Church, 3054 Highway N, Catawissa, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the blessing box at Heart of Worship Church.
